Dr. Eugene Oh
Dr. Eunseok 'Eugene’ Oh, our periodontics specialist, received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University. After practicing general dentistry for a few years, Dr. Oh pursued his specialty training at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Oh has received many awards, including the Dr. Bernard E. Rudner Memorial Award for superior performance in comprehensive care and applied practice dentistry, Honors in Hospital Residency, and a Dental Scholarship from New York University.
Most recently, Dr. Oh was selected as the best dentist by Washingtonian, Virginia Living, and Northern Virginia Magazine.
Dr. Tony Palumbo
Dr. Palumbo is a graduate of Boston College with a B.S. in Biochemistry. He received a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After receiving his dental degree, Dr. Palumbocompleted a 3-year Advanced Education Program in Periodontics from Stony Brook University. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, American Board of Periodontology, and Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Palumbo has received the Outstanding Dental Student in Implant Dentistry Award from the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Palumbo is also a published author of peer-reviewed journal articles in Periodontal Perspectives and author of the opening chapter “The Anatomy and Physiology of the Healthy Periodontium” in the textbook Gingival Diseases - Their Aetiology, Prevention, and Treatment. He attained Board Certification with the American Board of Periodontology in 2012. Dr. Palumbo specializes in periodontal and implant treatments, including gingival grafting, implant placement, sinus augmentation, and advanced bone augmentation. Dr. Palumbo worked in private practice in upstate NY before moving to Virginia.
In his spare time, Dr. Palumbo is an avid fly-fisherman, outdoorsman, and average golfer who enjoys traveling. Dr. Palumbo looks forward to meeting you and assisting you with your dental health.
The Staff
Dr. Oh's staff has many years of dental experience. These highly trained professionals are certified in all aspects of equipment sterilization, X-ray, OSHA, CPR (cardio pulmonary resuscitation) and emergency procedures. Our staff are experienced in working with patients who may be apprehensive about treatment and strive to help them feel comfortable in a friendly, supportive environment. They also have specialized training to assist in dental procedures for patients with various medical conditions (i.e. high blood pressure, breathing problems, heart problems, diabetes, digestive problems, extreme gag reflex, and patients on various medications). They are a great team.
