Dr. Eugene Oh
Dr. Eunseok “Eugene” Oh is the founder of Vienna Periodontics, where he has been caring for patients since 2010. He believes that the best dental care begins with understanding—understanding why a problem exists, how it developed, and what can be done to fix it and prevent it from coming back.
Dr. Oh is deeply committed to patient education. He takes the time to listen, explain, and walk patients through their diagnosis in a clear, down-to-earth way. By helping patients see the connection between daily habits, overall health, and gum disease, he empowers them to take an active role in their own care. His goal is not just to treat disease, but to help patients maintain healthy teeth and gums for life.
Dr. Oh earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University in 2005. After practicing general dentistry, he pursued advanced specialty training in periodontics at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. This training provided him with extensive experience treating advanced periodontal disease, placing dental implants, and performing regenerative procedures to preserve natural teeth whenever possible.
Throughout his career, Dr. Oh has been recognized for his dedication to excellence and patient care. He has received honors in hospital residency and academic scholarships from New York University. He has also been named one of the top dentists in the Washington, DC area by Washingtonian, Virginia Living, and Northern Virginia Magazine, including recognition as one of Washington, DC’s Best Dentists every year since 2012.
Patients appreciate Dr. Oh’s calm, thoughtful approach and his belief that great care comes from partnership. At Vienna Periodontics, he focuses on building trust, educating patients, and providing personalized treatment so each patient feels informed, confident, and supported every step of the way.
